Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos and the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts [Brooklyn, NY] have collaborated to present Explorations in Contemporary Drawing, a three day intensive, exploring new directions in the ever changing medium of drawing. This series will challenge existing notions of what it means to draw, and promote innovative dialogue and artistic exchange centered around drawing as a finished medium.
Facilitator: Ruby Amanze, Artist and Fulbright Scholar 2012/13 at University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Guest Artists and Speakers include Olu Amoda, Temitayo Ogunbiyi, Nnenna Okore, Odun Orimolade, Bisi Silva and Ruby Amanze.
