This is a practical two-day workshop that will teach you the principle functions of a 35mm Single Lens Reflex(SLR).

Over the two days, you will be introduced to the history of the photographic image, the mechanisms that control exposure, focus and other functionality of your camera and shown how to load and unload film safely. The film will then be processed, and you will learn how to scan a contact sheet of the negatives resulting in a final digitised image.

This workshop will include film, but participants will need their own 35mm SLR
