As a follow-up to the CCA Lagos Digital Archive Workshop, the Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos, showcased the works developed during the workshop. The exhibition, titled Medium as Time: Encounters with the CCA, Lagos Archive, on the 31st of May, 2026, brought the institution’s archive into direct conversation with contemporary artistic practice.
The evening unfolded as a space for genuine exchange. Guests moved through the works, paused over shared questions, and brought their memories and associations to the material on view.
The response was warm, engaged, and at times deeply personal, exactly what an encounter with an archive invites. For those who couldn’t make it, the exhibition remains open. We encourage you to come in, spend time with the works, and see what the archive stirs in you.
