As part of the 2026 edition of the Lagos Gallery Weekend, CCA Lagos is pleased to present an afternoon of engaging programming exploring the city, participation, and collective expression.
The event opens with “From Us to Us.”, a participatory performance by Tolulope Ami-Williams in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Nigeria. The performance stages the city as a reflective surface—examining how collective desire, labour, and consequence shape urban environments and shared responsibility within architecture, ecology, and growth.
This will be followed by “Dear Lagos.”, a letter-writing workshop facilitated by Mary Osaretin Omoregie, inviting participants to write directly to government institutions about their lived experiences of the city and the changes they wish to see.
