As part of the ongoing programming for Ka ọ dị mgbe anyị g’afu ọzọ (Until We Meet Again), CCA Lagos will host The Psychologist Date: The Boxed Emotion on Thursday, 1 October 2026.
The afternoon session will explore the emotional experiences that often remain unspoken, creating space for conversations around how we process, express and carry emotions.
In collaboration with Rose of Sharon Listening & Support Center, the session will invite participants to reflect on themes of emotions, vulnerability, grief and the experiences we hold within us. Through open conversation and shared reflection, participants will have an opportunity to listen, share and engage with questions around the emotions that are often kept “boxed in.”
The programme will take place at 2:00 PM at the Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos, 9 McEwen Street, Sabo, Yaba.
The session forms part of the wider programme of Ka ọ dị mgbe anyị g’afu ọzọ (Until We Meet Again), curated by Mary Osaretin Omoregie, which continues at CCA Lagos until 17 October 2026.
