On 30 August 2026, CCA Lagos welcomed visitors to the opening of Ka ọ dị mgbe anyị g’afu ọzọ (Until We Meet Again), an exhibition exploring grief, memory, vulnerability and healing through art, conversation and shared experience.
The opening brought together artists, creatives, friends and members of the public to gather, witness and reflect on the many ways we experience loss and remember those we have loved.
As we mark one month since the exhibition opened, we revisit some moments from the opening night and the conversations, connections and reflections it sparked.
Curated by Mary Osaretin Omoregie, Ka ọ dị mgbe anyị g’afu ọzọ (Until We Meet Again) remains open to the public until 17 October 2026.
There is still time to visit, engage with the works, and join a space that invites us to remember, reflect and imagine new ways of healing together.
