As part of the satellite project “Wind Chimes, Gongs and Bells. For whom is this call?” curated by Bukola Oyebode-Westerhuis, this special Sonic Session brings together members of the Lagos Sound Artists Collective for a live sound exploration within the gallery.
This event delves into the sonic, emotional, and political registers of our present moment—through collective listening, improvised soundwork, and artistic interpretation. Responding to the exhibition’s themes, the artists use sound as a tool for inquiry and reimagining—turning the act of listening into an urgent and restorative gesture.
