About Theo Eshetu
Berlin based, Anglo-Ethiopian artist Theo Eshetu will talk about his artistic practice as well as screen some of his video and film works. A pioneer in video art he works across photography, video, film as well as creating installation.
Eshetu is an internationally acclaimed artist whose work has been shown at the Tate Britain, Institute of Contemporary Art, London; the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Nice; the 2nd Video Biennial of Fukui, Japan, and at film festivals such as the Venice Film Festival; London Film Festival; International Festival of Film on Art, Montreal; the New York African Film Festival as well as other festivals throughout the world. He has had solo shows at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, MLAC in Rome and the Museo di Arte Italiana in Lima among others.
