CCA Lagos invites the public to an online premiere watch party in honour of the late Bisi Silva, founder of the Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA), Lagos, whose visionary leadership and commitment to contemporary African art continue to inspire generations.
Titled “Creating Space For A Hundred Flowers to Bloom,” this documentary reflects on Bisi Silva’s enduring legacy, her impact on the contemporary art ecosystem in Nigeria and beyond, and the spaces she created for artists, curators, and cultural practitioners to thrive.
Through archival footage, personal reflections, and critical insights, the film celebrates a life dedicated to nurturing artistic voices and shaping discourse within the global art community.
This special online screening offers audiences an opportunity to remember, reflect, and reconnect with the vision that has guided CCA Lagos since its founding.
