The Library @ CCA,Lagos
One of Nigeria's many challenges is to rebuild its educational system, revive non-functional libraries and create new ones.There can be no meaningful development without access toeducation or relevant up-to-date information and knowledge.
CCA,Lagos has set up one of the fastest growing independent libraries in Nigeria specialising in the visual arts and the creative sector in general. The library contains approximately 3000 books, catalogues, and journals and art videos. It is being developed as an important resource and artists archive, a specialised educationalfacility for artists, students, especially at graduate, post graduate and doctoral level, local and international researchers and other professionals in the cultural sector. The vision is to build the library to be one of the most comprehensive art libraries in the West African Region
